wanita matranga on August 13, 2011I just tuned in tonite for the first time. I live and work in Marathon, Fla Keys and have a huge Howard Livingston fan for a long time. I have many of his CD's he produced for Habitat for Humanity. We picked up a post card that alerted us the the Ch. 354 on Direct TV, which we have, but when we tried tuning in to the Ch. it was not available on our service??? Is it a Pay Channel?? So I brought up the site on the computer, and found it extremely enjoyable. Could someone please shed some light on this for me? I'll call direct TV tomorrow, but since I live in the Coconut Telegraph - thought I could solve the dilemma without the outside world!!

These episodes want me to go more than twice a year and book more group. I show my customers this website to see how Key West really is and what to expect there besides diving. I can not recommend this website enough and anybody or everybody that talks about the Keys I recommend this site to them. Howie you are a great host of the show and I could not see anyone else doing it. Keep it going you ROCK!

Our daughter & her boyfriend accompanied my wife and I since it was her b'day also. We arrived on Sat afternoon. The next day the boyfriend became fiancee and on Thursday became my son-in-law. There might be a song in there somewhere.

Some months ago, we came across your show, Key West Time, on the R&R Channel and discovered you guys and your music. What a refreshing blast you have been!!! My wife ordered your CD's, and now, when life gets a little rugged, or work becomes too much of a pain, we just pop in one of your CD's and escape to the Keys again. You give us reminders of what we love about the Keys and why we go back every time we get a chance. We're hoping to catch a performance the next time we're in the Conch Republic. Maybe one day we can "Sell our stuff, keep the dog, and live on an island" like you guys. I discovered Howard and MM24 at Mallory Sq. for one of his shows. Now I keep his CDs in my truck and play them when ever it snows up here in St.L Mo. Keep up the good work Howard.

Bobby Curran on February 23, 2011Looks like RR..which has needed a financial PFD for quite a while may have gone under. if so I hope the show can find a new home .. telling the old audience to stay tuned for future developments is good for about a month. after that you have totaly lost them. Attention and concentration in this age is miniscule at best. especialy where TV is concerned. Spent 33 years nationaly and internationaly in this businbess that fights every moment to retain viewership. To accomplish that you have to have something to view. or tell the viewers what the delay is. New topic.. Tell Howard the show and his CD's have gained him quite a few fans among sea kayakers in the Tampa area and Bonnie Teller is one of the best sailing songs this retired TV dude, and sailor ,turned kayak guide has ever heard and I have heard many. On behalf of Tampa area kayakers who paddle in the lower keys..I wish you the best in the continuation of Key West Time and if need be, finding a replacement for RR.

JOHN eNNIS on February 10, 2011Love the program! Our cable company added a new channel and this is on it! My wife and I visited Key West by Carnival cruise line twice and just love the place. The last time was in Sept of 2010. We are planning a trip down this year and stay a week to see if we can afford to make it our permanent residence. We are both in our early 50's and figured this would be a nice place to be for the rest of our lives!

We watch it all the time now and we can't wait to return. We stayed two weeks in Islamorada and only spent one day in Key West . Next time we are staying in Key West. Your show has been pointing out to us all the many, many things we missed. We are scuba divers and had a totally awesome vacation and look forward to returning soon.

Kim Goodwin on January 29, 2011We love this place! The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing! We visit here every time we are in Key West. In fact, we recently got married in Key West (Thanks Captain Marlin Scott of FISHMONSTER) and celebrated at the Hog Fish later that evening. The bartender was so sweet - she even gave us champagne on the house! We love the food, of course - the Hogfish sandwich is delicious . . . but the setting is the ideal Key West (Stock Island) place to just relax and enjoy the warm breezes and beautiful view of the water and boats.

Perry Dickinson on January 27, 2011At 7 tonight, I poured a glass of Chardonnay and sat down at my computer to watch the show, and Howie, I have to say, this was your best one ever! It showed more of the real Key West than anything else has, even to the sand sculptures at White and Virginia, right around the corner from where I lived until last February. I loved every minute of the show and I have to tell you, I was actually sobbing all the way through "Leave This Island", for obvious reasons, since I really never wanted to leave that island. I miss it so much, but I know I'm near my children and grandchildren where I'm meant to be right now and I'm happy about that. I can't wait to come back to see all of you in March for a few weeks! The episodes of Key West Time have enlightened me to several things that i will put on my itinerary for this years visit. ( the haunted fort for one) I am a very big fan of troprock music & would like as much info on this kind of music as possible.

Patti on January 23, 2011I am from central Mchigan, I have been to the FLA Keys several times. ABSOLUTELY love the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today our low temp was -11 degrees F and day time high 12 degrees F. Lookin foward to visiting again in late March for a full week then off to the Caribbean for 2 weeks. I love FLA, thats all I think about this time of year. I wish Iwas there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely the best I have ever seen about Key West. I especially enjoyed the segment on Hogfish Rest. I went for the first time and tried hogfish. Excellent! Maybe I can go before my flight and try the boiled pink shrimp. I will keep watching, for sure!

Howie you are just fantastic at everything you do, from showcasing the Hogfish Restaurant with Bobby and Pattycake, the Pirates in Paradise and the Fantasy Fest gala. I had a huge smile on my face watching this from start to finish. Loved hearing you sing “Key West Time” during the finale, was the perfect song for this Episode! This installment was a little heavy on the puff for the Marriott Beachside, but I guess that's show biz sponsorship. (Also -- orange isn't a one-syllable word, and Florida isn't just two syllables. I remember when I lived there that the only direction to travel was called "up" and when we traveled around the country, no one had heard of Key West so we had to draw them a map. I remember when Jimmy Buffet first came to town and Mel Fisher came to look for the ATOCHA and the Conch culture was still intact and they spoke the Conch accent. A good day"s entertainment was to ride a bike down the cozy flowered lanes or go for a day of snorkeling, spear fishing, lobstering or collecting tropicals for our aquarium. Thanks again. Key West is still home in my heart.

We were always way to wrapped up in the distractions to life up north. My six year old son, Jeff and I drive back and forth to Key West singing your songs. He can't wait to see himself on your upcoming episode aboard the fury for the sunset cruise. Thanks to the Key West Time folks and the crew of the fury for inviting all off us to join you that night, we had a great time. I hope your show inspires thousands of "unknown" friends to come share some time in the Keys with us and take a little Key West attitude home with them. And, yes we're now livin' on Key West time.

pat winchell on November 30, 2010I remember the first time I heard about Howard. He had a sampler cd in the goodie bag at Meeting of the Minds in 2006. I said to myself this guy is good. Little did we know that there was so much talent and energy in this man. I have been fortunate to see Howard and the band at several parrot head events and always look forward to seeing him again. I visit Key West about 3 times a year and now this show helps me to get through the other 49 weeks. The high def quality of the picture and sound is superb. Keep up the good work!

We've been to Key West many times and love everything about it. We were familiar with Howard's band too. I think I got a CD at a Meeting of the Minds one year. It's great to have a TV show about Key West that we can watch every week. Can't wait to see the new episode. We will be regular watchers.
