Mayor of Key West, Craig Cates, takes Howard on a boat tour of the Key West Harbor.

Next, Howard takes us to the center of town for the Sunset Celebration in Mallory Square. It’s most famous for the quirky variety acts and picture perfect sunsets.

Will Soto, a tight-rope-walker, (punambulist), talks about the famous performers from the past that got their start at this proverbial Town Square.

Howard goes out on a Fury Catamaran for a Key West sunset sail. Howard along with the Fury “Commotion on the Ocean” musician, Cory Heydon, and his band perform Howard’s song “Sailing To I Don’t Know”

  10. Love the program! Our cable company added a new channel and this is on it! My wife and I visited Key West by Carnival cruise line twice and just love the place. The last time was in Sept of 2010. We are planning a trip down this year and stay a week to see if we can afford to make it our permanent residence. We are both in our early 50’s and figured this would be a nice place to be for the rest of our lives!

  16. Looks like RR..which has needed a financial PFD for quite a while may have gone under. if so I hope the show can find a new home .. telling the old audience to stay tuned for future developments is good for about a month. after that you have totaly lost them. Attention and concentration in this age is miniscule at best. especialy where TV is concerned. Spent 33 years nationaly and internationaly in this businbess that fights every moment to retain viewership. To accomplish that you have to have something to view. or tell the viewers what the delay is. New topic.. Tell Howard the show and his CD’s have gained him quite a few fans among sea kayakers in the Tampa area and Bonnie Teller is one of the best sailing songs this retired TV dude, and sailor ,turned kayak guide has ever heard and I have heard many. On behalf of Tampa area kayakers who paddle in the lower keys..I wish you the best in the continuation of Key West Time and if need be, finding a replacement for RR.

JOHN eNNIS on February 16th, 2011
  17. I have been checking to see a new episode with no luck. Are you done for the season or are you not going to make anymore shows?

Bobby Curran on February 23rd, 2011
  18. Hi Bobby!
The first 13-week season of Key West Time has just finished airing and some very exciting things are happening. The show reached 33 million households weekly through DirecTV, cable and over air viewers. Discussions are now underway to syndicate our first 13 episodes around the world!

Additionally, Key West Time epsiodes were viewed online over 105,000 times on http://www.KeyWestTime.com and http://www.ConchTV.com! Special thanks for all those wonderful comments that you posted too!

We are now busy writing scripts and filming for our next season. We could not be happier with the results and appreciate all the support everyone has given us to make this project such a success.
    Thanks for watching!

  24. Howard,
I’ve been a Parrothead for years. My wife and I have made several trips
to the Keys over the past six years and fell in love with them. Some
months ago, we came across your show, Key West Time, on the R&R Channel
and discovered you guys and your music. What a refreshing blast you have
been!!! My wife ordered your CD’s, and now, when life gets a little
rugged, or work becomes too much of a pain, we just pop in one of your
CD’s and escape to the Keys again. You give us reminders of what we love
about the Keys and why we go back every time we get a chance. We’re
hoping to catch a performance the next time we’re in the Conch Republic.
Maybe one day we can “Sell our stuff, keep the dog, and live on an island”
like you guys. In the meantime, thank you for taking us away to our
favorite place; keep it up, and have a margarita at sunset for us.

  50. Love this show. We travel with a group twice a year down there to scuba dive and enjoy the local atmosphere. We absolutely love the Florida Keys and Key West. These episodes want me to go more than twice a year and book more group. I show my customers this website to see how Key West really is and what to expect there besides diving. I can not recommend this website enough and anybody or everybody that talks about the Keys I recommend this site to them. Howie you are a great host of the show and I could not see anyone else doing it. Keep it going you ROCK!

Jerry Atkinson on August 12th, 2011
  51. I just tuned in tonite for the first time. I live and work in Marathon, Fla Keys and have a huge Howard Livingston fan for a long time. I have many of his CD’s he produced for Habitat for Humanity. We picked up a post card that alerted us the the Ch. 354 on Direct TV, which we have, but when we tried tuning in to the Ch. it was not available on our service??? Is it a Pay Channel?? So I brought up the site on the computer, and found it extremely enjoyable. Could someone please shed some light on this for me? I’ll call direct TV tomorrow, but since I live in the Coconut Telegraph – thought I could solve the dilemma without the outside world!!

Betty Schreiber on August 12th, 2011
